Hiding lists and filtering cards on your board

When you use title markdown for headers, hashtags and/or priorities, TCO will automatically display selections dropdowns on the bottom of the board to quickly filter out cards.

On the bottom of the board there’s a Hide lists button, as well as buttons for headers, hashtags and/or priorities. These last buttons only appear if there are cards on your board with title markdown for headers, hashtags and/or priorities, so you will not see buttons you won’t need.

If you click on one of the buttons, a multi-select panel appears showing the items found on the board.
Next to each item the number of occurences is shown .

If you select one or more items the board is instantly updated, and a ‘clear all’ button appears in the panel and the corresponding button is highlighted.
The multi-select panels show the total count for each item.
If any selection is active the visible count is in all panels is also shown, so you know how many cards of that specific filter criteria are visible and how many there are in total.
There’s also a global ‘reset’ button on the bottom of the board if one or more selection are active.

When card selections are active the total number of cards per list is shown below the list header.
The active selections are automatically saved and restored per board.

If you like another extensions implementation better, you can disable the ‘Hide lists’ and/or the ‘Filter cards’ buttons separately in the global settings.
